A few months ago I moved my long run from Sunday to Wed. It was too difficult for me to do a long bike ride of up to 4 hours on Saturday then have to rebound with the long run the next day. It seems to be paying off.
I have not run over 6 miles at a time since the half Ironman in June. Today was my first time at 9 miles during an extended lunch. It felt good. I ran at a slower pace then normal.
