Unfortunately the Sharks lost but at least it was an exciting game. The score ended up being 7-4, which is actually a very high scoring game in hockey. It's like a football score being 49-42 or a baseball game being 15-12. You get the picture..
The Anaheim Ducks were the better team and they looked like a well-oiled machine. It's no wonder they lead the Pacific division over the Sharks. The Duck's game was precise and their timing was impeccable compared to the Sharks who looked a step off all night and received no lucky breaks.
The only thing the Sharks led at was big hits and fights. It made for an exciting game and their enforcers received plenty of time in the penalty box!
The Sharks are still in a good spot to make the playoffs and, even though they lost to the Ducks, they are still only 4 points behind them and first place in the division.
All in all, it was an exciting game and the Sharks don't need to panic quite yet. A few adjustments before the playoffs and they should be able to make a good run at Hockey's most treasured prize; the Stanley Cup!
