Sunday has to have been the most stressful day of my life yet; ok, well just about. I was ready to kill this girl; you wouldn't belive the ridiculousness of the situation unless you actually saw it with your own eyes, but trust me it's unbelievable.
Shortly after watching the movie Four Rooms I decide that I am craving something sweet so my boyrfriend, Arnold and I decide to go to the liquor store; we were probably gone for a good hour or so since we decided to stop by a school to see if we could hop the fence and go for a dip - Willow Glenners are nosey and ruined that one for us.
Ok back to the original story. So we are driving back into our complex when I notice these giant white scrapes and dents on the right front fender of my black car. I immediately jump out of the car, still slowly moving and I start yelling "who the f*** hit my car...people can't f****** drive around here" blah blah blah. Finally my neighbor comes out and says that the people who live in the house had hit it as they backed out in their Audi A4.
The trouble maker pulls into the drive way where I confront her about the whole situation and unbelievably she is smiling at me as if I was going to be cool that I come back and find my PARKED CAR smashed on the side. "Oh, but we will pay for it," she has to be kidding right? Of course she is going to pay for it; she hit my car when there was at least a 2 car space for her to get around my car - how the hell could she have hit it? I was so infuriated by her inconsiderate smile that I was still yelling and crying and bluring out mean things regarding her inability to drive. I plan on apologizing later, but I'm still piseed about it.
The parking at the complex is totally inadequate; I have a two bedroom and am supposed to have 2 assigned spots and I only have one in which some idiot keeps parking. Management does not answer the phone or return calls and they close before I get home. The outside parking is consumed by garbage bins that shouldn't be there and the last resort is to park in the fire lane which is where I was. I am aware that it is not a parking area, but I would never choose to park there if my assigned spot was available. That is definitely not an excuse for someone to carelessly hit my car when there is an excessive amount of space for her to get out.
Luckily the people left their number for me to call and obtain a policy number, but either way now I have a demolished front fender that makes me cringe everytime I see it. I am hoping my insurance company can have it fixed asap because as ridiculous as it sounds I don't even want to drive it right now. I will keep you posted with what goes down from here on out.
