OMG! This storm is so crazy; I can't believe the wind. Apparently this is the largest storm that we have had in two years, but who really knows what that means becuase we haven't really had any rain in the past two years.

The sound of the wind kept waking me up last night; it was so loud compared to our normal soft, tranquil winds. The rain isn't so bad except for driving on the freeway; I hate the spray from other drivers' tires.

The other bad part is the 101 freeway. Fos whatever reason they decided to build it out of a certain pavement that turns nearly white when wet; are they trying to cause accidents? Come on now. I just don't know why they would choose a freeway that causes the markings to disapear and get super slippery when wet. There are so many better options; I guess they wanted to save a few bucks huh?

Oh well...at least my power hasn't gone out yet. My lights flickered once this morning, but luckily they stayed strong. To all of my California residents: Drive safe and keep warm.
