I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and that it was a safe holiday of course.

Arnold and I decided to take a mini vacation to Monterey this weekend. We had hoped to go to the beach in Santa Cruz, but with the fire and bad air we didn't think that would be a whole lot of fun.

Monterey turned out to be great; the weather was nice and the drive was smooth as well. We stayed there over the weekend and did some shopping, sight seeing and at on the wharf.

Surprisingly it wasn't crowded at all. I had thought that itmight be with it being Memorial Day, but I guess the travelers decided to go elsewhere which worked out great for us.

Well it's Tuesday and I am back here at the office, but lickily it is a short week. Stay busy and it will be Friday before you know it.
