Roxi (22) was trgically killed in a car crash that sadly occured early Monday morning, June 30, 2008 (my birthday).

The accident occured just past Lark Avenue on Highway 17 at approximately 8:45 am as she was on her way to work. Along with her was Nathan Gilroy (28), her boyfriend of 7 years, who suffered only minor injurines. Roxi, who was said not to be wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene from her injuries.

The accident is currently under investigation to determine exactly what occured. The CHP has said that Roxi was in the number two lane traveling at approximately 65 mph when she switched lanes and struck a pickup truck which caused her to spin and flip her car several times.

She was a friend of my sister, Melinda and to many others at Willow Glen High School. Our prayers and thoughts go out to her family and friends in this time of sadness. Roxi will always be with in thought and spirit. Don't let the memories fade and she will never die. Rest in peace.
