Sweets Overload

With the holiday season in full bloom it has become very difficult to avoid the abundance of sweets put on display everywhere you go...work, grocery stores, malls, and even at home. I have found it very hard to resist so lately I just don't, but I think it's starting to get the best of me becuase right about now I feel like I could throw up my lunch. Ironman Cor D Alene Training

Well I have a marathon this weekend (first one).  We are going to Las Vegas to do this.  Debbie is running her first half and Trinity is doing the kids marathon.  She has run a total of 25 miles in the weeks leading up to this.  Pretty good for a 9 year old.  Anyway after a week of recovery, I start training for Ironman Cor D Alene in June.  I also have a half in Hawaii 3 weeks before that.   I have 2 goals in mind.  Sub 5 hour half and to qualifiy for... read more

Vitamins

I hate swallowing pills; it's so gross and I hate the after taste that every single pill leaves behind as it travels down my throat...yuck! Before I had the option of "Hmm, do I want to take this or not?" I don't have that luxury anymore. Now that I have to take these giant horse pills called "Prenatal Vitamins" on a daily, consistent basis it's even more of a pain. Finally I'm Tracking Myself

After all of my time registered on this site as an admin I have just barely begun to track my exercise regime. I have no idea what took me so long, but at least I'm getting it done now right? I have logged my most recent workouts, but have to tone it down now since I am preggers. I thought that it was ok for me to run, but apparently not on level 10 for 5 miles. Oops, my bad. It's true....I know, shocking right? At first I didn't believe it so I called my best friend, Judy, and drug her to Target to grab a few more tests and sure enough every single one came back with two little lines. Oh Man.
