Wednesday night run workout - Consisted of 7 miles at a very moderate pace. Finished up in 55 minutes. We are getting ready for the teams first race on March 7 at the Jenny's Light 5K Run. I ran the Surf City Marathon on February 7th. My intention and training leading up was to qualify for the Boston Marathon. At my age (40) this requires a 3:20 or better. My previous best was 3:59. That time was completed because my coach said to run a 4:00 hour for my first marathon (I have done others now in Ironman). So I really did not ‘race’ it the first time.

Have you ever had one of those days where you do something that you really really want to do and then shortly after, you wish that you hadn't?
I think I am having one of those days or moments rather right now. What did I do to feel this way? being that this is a fitness and wellness blog, this will sound horrible, but the truth is that I ate a chocolate bar. That's right, I ate a big chocolate donut.
